Ninh Binh, all you need to know before you go
Ninh Binh (in Vietnamese: Ninh Bình), which is a small city and the capital of Ninh Binh province. In the past, people called it Hoa Lu (Hoa Lư). It was the ancient capital of Vietnam for 42 years, from 968 to 1010 CE, under the rule of three dynasties: Dinh Dynasty, the Early Le Dynasty and Ly Dynasty.
Nowadays, this destination is also commonly known as one of the most important scenes in “Kong: the Skull Island”
Where is it?
Ninh Binh is located in the Red River Delta, northern Vietnam. It takes you 12 hours from Hue by private car or just 2 hours by bus from Hanoi.
How do you get from Hue to Ninh Binh?
I highly recommend you to travel from Hue to Ninh Binh by private car. In my point of view, it’s a perfect option. Most especially if you have a baby, children or older ones traveling with you, it is definitely the best choice. Importantly, you do not have to worry about time, it is very flexible and absolutely depends on you.
Besides from private car, you can consider a few mode of transport:
