On our La Chu Countryside Bicycle Tour, you won’t just see Hue’s countryside—you’ll live it. Wandering off the beaten path as you would fully explore La Chu village, not only a glimpse into slices of life of the locals but also more into the cultural and spiritual lives of them. This is more than a tour; it’s a hands-on, an encounter with rural life that promises fresh perspectives, authentic connections, and things you won’t find in any guidebook.

COUNTRYSIDE BICYCLE TOUR TO LA CHU VILLAGE

• 08:30 – 09:00 | Hotel Pick-up
  We’ll meet you at your hotel in central Hue and get you set up with your bicycle for the day.
• 09:00 – 11:00 | Biking through La Chu Village (~10 km)
  Cultural stops: Cycle through peaceful village paths and stop by a village temple, pagoda, Catholic church, and local market—each reflecting a slice of La Chu’s spiritual and everyday life.
• Scenic countryside: Ride past vast rice paddies, small rivers, and serene farmland. This is your chance to capture stunning photos of farmers in action, water buffalo bathing, and daily life in motion.
• Local visit: Stop at a traditional home and watch a local resident prepare fresh rice paper cake. You’ll see how something so simple becomes part of every Vietnamese meal.
• 11:00 – 12:30 | Vegetable Garden Visit & Cooking Class
  Harvest experience: Walk through an organic vegetable farm where you’ll help hand-pick herbs and seasonal greens.
  Cooking class: Under the guidance of a local cook, turn your harvest into delicious local dishes. Learn hands-on how central Vietnamese families prepare food, which is flavorful, healthy, and authentic.
• 12:30 – 14:00 | Farm Lunch & Herbal Foot Massage
  Lunch in the village: Enjoying a fresh, home-cooked meal made with the ingredients you just picked and prepared. It is as farm-to-table as it gets.
  Foot bath & massage: Relaxing with a warm herbal foot bath and a massage to refresh after the ride and activities—an authentic countryside wellness touch.
• 14:00 – 15:00 | Conical Hat Painting Experience
  Meet a local artisan and watch the creative process of decorating traditional Vietnamese conical hats (nón lá). Then try it for yourself by painting your own hat with motifs inspired by the countryside. It’s a fun, hands-on way to bring a piece of La Chu home with you.
• 15:00 – 15:30 | Private Car Transfer Back to Hotel
  After a fulfilling day of exploration, food, and creativity, we’ll say goodbye to La Chu and return you to your hotel in Hue city center by a private car.
