Visiting Traditional Craft Villages Half Day Tour
- At 8:00am : Our driver and guide will pick you up from your hotel in Hoi an and take you to the boat station. You’ll take a nice boat ride to the Kim Bong Carpentry Village. This place was started more than 500 years ago by people from other parts of the country. They’re really good at building ships and crafting furniture and sculptures. You’ll see how they make ships and furniture and get to understand how they do it using old methods.
- Next stop, the boat trip again takes you to Thanh Ha Pottery Village. People here have been making pottery for hundreds of years. You can watch them create pots, vases, and more. There’s also a museum where you can see wonderful art made of clay.
- Finally, our car will pick you up from Thanh Ha and take you back to Hoi an town. You’ll meet a local lantern maker who will show you how lanterns are made in the traditional way. This is a special part of Hoi An’s culture that has been going on for a long time and is loved by many people in Vietnam.
- Finish the tour, our car and guide take you back to your hotel in Hoi an.
